Our dogs (pure) miniature dachshunds are all AKC registered. This means that if maintained at a healthy weight they should be 11 pounds and under for their first year. After the first year it is healthy and normal if the dog gains a pound or two. All of our puppies come with a one year genetic health guarantee.
